Information on the charities we support: All our events and life in our parish is covered with regular prayer. God answers our prayer through your donations.

IJM - International Justice Mission

Working in 16 countries around the world to stop slavery and violence.

Millions of people around the world are at risk of everyday violence - crimes like slaveryu, trafficking, violence against women and children, and police abuse of power.

IJM is on a mission to partner with local communities to build a more Just World where everyone can expect to be safe and protected. We support IJM because nobody should be enslaved; this should not be happening, and the only way to change is through education. We believe IJM is making a difference.

Careforce Inala Pantry at St. Hugh's Anglican Parish, Inala

Careforce seeks to care for those in need. Our parish supports their pantry by providing non-perishable foods throughout the year through donations from parishioners. Once a year for Christmas we ask the Sherwood Community for assistance through our "Stand and Deliver" Appeal.

The Sherwood Neighbourhood Centre

Focusing on families affected by domestic and family violence. Through an ongoing partnership with the Centre, we have developed a way to provide much-needed support to these families. Throughout the year, we collect various items that can assist the family in need. We fill a shopping bag of goodies, with much of our focus going towards school supplies, but also including hygiene and family fun time.  In comparison to what is needed, our gift is small, but each bag is prayed over so that the contents will make a difference to the families receiving them and that they may see the presence of Jesus in their journey. This initiative has been well-received over the past three years.
